Water Supply to City of Agadir

Project Features
Implementation of new water supply system from the Ait Hammou Dam to the Greater Agadir area in Morocco that includes the City of Agadir and seven urban centers with a projected population of 3 million by 2015; construction of pumping stations with capacities of 900 L/s and 700 L/s, reinforced pressurized water pipe of 1,000 mm diameter and 4 km in length, raw water tank of 1,000 cu m capacity, reinforced concrete gravity water pipe from 1,000 to 1,200 mm diameter and 63 km in length, water treatment plant with a capacity of 60 MLD, automatic centralized control system for the operation of the installation, and electrical connections over 9 km.

Scope of Services
Validation of detailed design and tender documents; assistance in bid appraisal and contract award; general coordination and construction supervision; training of project supervision staff.
