Project Features
Rehabilitation and expansion of 20 MLD wastewater treatment plant and three sewage pump stations to treat wastewater from the high-density dormitory town of Chitungwiza with 321,000 residents; construction of distribution chamber, screen and grit chamber, primary and final sedimentation tanks, biological reactor, effluent outfall, maintenance building, laboratory roads and drainage system; monitoring and evaluation of mechanical and electrical equipment; provision of maintenance vehicles.
