Metropolitan San Jose Environmental Improvement Project
Development of sewerage system to improve the quality of water in urban rivers and waterways in the San Jose Metropolitan Area where only about 47% of the 1 million population are connected to a sewerage system; construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant with a capacity of 340 MLD, a 331 km sewerage network including collectors and sub-collectors together with a 177 km secondary collection system and a 1.8 km tunnel with a diameter of 2,800 mm, and a 3.5 km 2,800 mm diameter sewer main conveying the total flow to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Scope of Services
Review of previous studies; preparation of preliminary and detailed engineering design and tender documents; tender evaluation; construction supervision and contract administration of all project components.
