Preparatory Study for Water Supply and Power Transmission/distribution Network System Development Project in Santiago Island

Project Features
Upgrading and expansion of the water supply system in Santiago Island using desalination plants including transmission pipe, reservoir/storage, distribution pipes, etc. to meet rapidly increasing demand considering that groundwater resource is limited and surface water development is not reliable due to scarce rainfall.

Scope of Services
Conduct of site reconnaissance to assess the existing condition of water resources and water supply, data collection on water resources and water production & supply including wells, desalination plants, water reservoirs/tanks, water supply networks/pipelines, etc.; discussion with relevant government offices and the other donor agencies concerned for the study on the implementation of the objective study; preparation of Terms of the Feasibility Study; Preparation of the study report.
